After the death of her eldest daughter grandma cares for the two teenagers in her home who are left motherless. Years later the two have become adults and have moved out and then back in again bringing with them spouses, children, and no jobs. The income they do get goes not towards their grandmother’s efforts to care for them all, but to birthday parties for the kids, weed, beer, or a new pair of Jordan’s. The rest of the family is appalled, but grandma defends them to the end leaving family members no choice but to step back and watch as she is taken advantage of.
Question:
Where does love and care for family stop, and tough love and lessons for life need to begin?
